• California Trip, Next Update Time and Other News

Hello! With all the excitement surrounding EYF I nearly forgot that we had planned a trip to southern California to visit family this week. For some reason I tend to always travel to relatively cold places like Alaska, Scotland, Minnesota etc, so this will be a brand new adventure for me. Looking forward to beaches, visiting a few breweries, and eating fish tacos.

Due to this trip, I will not be having an update this Thursday. But there will be a nice big update next Thursday, April 12th at 4pm PST. I have a new shade of green that I can't wait to share with you all!

1940s era Yarn Club skeins will be shipping next week.

I am also planning on opening sign-ups for the second Scotland Yarn Club somewhere towards the middle of this month. This year I will be doing a 3-month sign-up rather than monthly.

And, to continue this traveling trend I will be having a trunk show in my hometown of Bozeman, MT on Saturday, May 12th at Stix yarn shop. So excited to be bringing my yarn to the place where it all started.

  • Color of The Eras Yarn Club - Month Three - The 1940s

I will be in Scotland this week attending the Edinburgh Yarn Festival, but sign-ups for the next installment of the Color of The Eras Yarn Club -- The 1940s -- are scheduled to go live this Thursday at 10:00 am PST. For the past two installments I have put up sign-ups at two different times, but this time I will put up sign-ups at 10am, and leave them up all day. I hope you can join in! The 1940s has to be my favorite period of history, and I'm so excited to be creating a color inspired by this fascinating era.
  • What's happening this week

(No, I won't be selling yarn made from Scottish Highland Cattle...but wouldn't that be cool?)

I'm still here in the Seattle area, and my bovine neighbors are really getting me excited for my trip to Scotland next week. In the meantime, there is a lot to do.

There will be a shop update this week at the usual time -- Thursday at 4pm PST. It won't be huge, but I will have more sock sets, Doune, Pigwidgeon, Goldberry, and a few other colors (maybe some new ones as well!)

If you signed up for the Roaring Twenties installment of my Color of The Eras Yarn Club, your yarn will be shipped out this Friday or Saturday, so be on the lookout in your email inboxes for a shipping notification. HINT: the color is inspired by one of my favorite characters from Downton Abbey.
